Connected digital services and inflight entertainment provider Immfly has secured a long-term partnership with International Airlines Group (IAG).

Immfly, which is headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, says its specialist onboard software services will support the development and maintenance of IAG’s universal platform ‘.air’.

Immfly’s digital services reach millions of passengers across hundreds of destinations around the globe, and the announcement follows a long-standing wireless IFE collaboration over several years between Immfly and Iberia Express which is part of the IAG Group.

The company says IAG, the parent company of Aer Lingus, British Airways, Iberia, LEVEL and Vueling, is planning to enhance the .air platform with new products, services and retail opportunities designed to progressively increase customer satisfaction and to unlock new revenue streams.

Advanced connectivity

To deliver a consistent digital customer experience, Immfly’s platform has already deployed a connectivity service across a large part of the group’s fleet. This includes built-in flexibility to tailor the offering to each airline’s brand and customer proposition.
