Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) has rolled out a fully redesigned inflight service for its long-haul Business and First Class cabins, describing the move as the most comprehensive service renewal in the airline’s history.

The upgrade covers every stage of the passenger experience, from aperitifs to dessert, with expanded menu options, new tableware, upgraded bedding and amenity kits, and partnerships with premium Swiss brands including Sprüngli, Aeschbach Chocolatier, VIU and Soeder.

Heike Birlenbach, SWISS’s chief commercial officer, said: “Our new SWISS Business and SWISS First services are designed to provide all the ambience of a superior restaurant aloft, with greater choice, more individuality and an even firmer emphasis on Swiss hospitality.”

In Business Class, passengers are now offered a Swiss aperitif service, expanded meal courses including soups and cheeses, and new pralines from Aeschbach.

Longer flights feature upgraded bedlinen, Muntagnard sleepshirts, and co-branded amenity kits.

First Class travellers receive a redesigned food and beverage service presented on new porcelain tableware, starting with Sprüngli apéro flûtes and a welcome drink, followed by amuse-bouche trios, seasonal sorbets, a five-cheese course, and an afternoon tea service on selected daytime flights. Comfort items now include Zimmerli sleepwear, Sisley amenity kits and noise-cancelling headphones.

The initiative forms part of SWISS Senses, the airline’s wider inflight experience programme, which also includes new cabin interiors and ambient lighting.
