Stefanie Neumann has taken over as one of two CEOs of Lufthansa Systems and will lead the company together with Dr Thomas Wittmann, who has held his CEO position since 2019.

In her role she will be responsible for the company’s products, customers, and markets as Lufthansa Systems continues to provide IT solutions that shape the future of digital aviation.

Neumann joined Lufthansa Group in 2019, where she was part of the CIO management team as vice president of IT Infrastructure, Sourcing & Transition. During this time, she managed the transition from a single provider setup towards a future oriented partner ecosystem and modernized the technical capabilities in all IT infrastructure pillars.

Before joining Lufthansa Group, Neumann had various management roles related to products and innovation at Deutsche Telekom. She built the basis of her career in strategy and IT consulting in various industries like insurances, telecommunications, and aviation.
