Recaro expands production and testing facilities

Recaro is to increase the size of its German seat testing facility by 60% in 2026 as part of a series of measures put in place by the company as it expands its aircraft seating business.

The announcements come off the back of a predicted set of good results, which the company says it expects a ‘double digit’ growth in revenues in FY 2025 compared with FY 2024.

Other initiatives include hiring around 200 additional employees worldwide, while seat production capacity at its plant in Poland is being expanded to include a new production line and office space.

To further meet customer demand, a customer service presence will be established in the first quarter of 2026 in Delhi, India. The company has also been advancing technologies and capabilities within its business class segment to include training of operations and customer service teams to meet the predicted higher volume output over the coming years.
