Riyadh Air and Uber Technologies have announced a partnership to deliver end-to-end travel for travellers in the Kingdom and around the world.

The inking of the partnership took place at the Boeing factory in Charleston with Riyadh Air’s first aircraft as the backdrop to celebrate the occasion. The signing ceremony also included electric vehicle manufacturer Lucid Motors.

It is expected that Uber travel will form part of the airline’s soon-to-be-announced loyalty programme.

By integrating trusted and innovative services into our offering, we are ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless, premium journey both in the air and on the ground. Together, we are setting new standards for convenience and service excellence in the aviation industry.”

Madhu Kannan, Chief Business Officer at Uber, said: “Our partnership with Riyadh Air is a significant step in our mission to make movement seamless for people everywhere. By combining premium air travel with convenient and seamless last-mile mobility, we’re making journeys effortless and more convenient for travellers in the Kingdom and around the world.”

Riyadh Air is scheduled to begin operations on October 26, 2025, with its inaugural route between Riyadh and London Heathrow using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners. The airline had originally planned to launch earlier in 2025, but delays in Boeing 787 deliveries pushed the start date to late October. Riyadh Air has secured landing slots at London Heathrow and is preparing for daily flights on this route. Ticket sales are expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2025.
