SWISS reintroduces inflight magazine

Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) has returned to flight operations the last of its aircraft which had been placed in long-term storage in response to the Covid-19 crisis.

After a three-year hiatus, SWISS will restart publication of its in-flight magazine.

The new magazine will only be available on the airline’s new A350s and the first edition contains a feature detailing aircraft production at the Airbus factory in Toulouse.

There will also be the usual features on destinations the airline flies to, as well as an interview with a former flight attendant training to become a pilot for the airline.

“After a three-year break, our inflight reading is back. For our guests, it’s a piece of familiarity that also opens up new stories. For the first time, we’re combining the tactile reading experience with digital extras: via QR codes, there are videos and additional images,”  says Léa Wertheimer, Head of Corporate Communications at SWISS

The print version of the magazine is supplemented by an eJournal that SWISS travellers can download at any time onto their personal electronic device. The special-edition SWISS Magazine is also available to all interested parties online at swiss.com/magazine– as are all the past print issues.
