Thompson Aero Seating has joined trade industry environmental group The Green Cabin Alliance.

The stated aims of the Alliance are to drive awareness and understanding of sustainability issues in our sector, promote more sustainable materials, processes and product and to facilitate a collective shift to more sustainable practices.

In a statement, Thompson said: “Our goal is to empower our customers to make eco-conscious choices by minimising the environmental impact of aviation seating and cabin interiors through innovative design and engineering, improved manufacturing processes and ongoing collaboration and commitment with our suppliers”.

The Green Cabin Alliance’s current membership list includes Boeing, Sekisui Kydex, JPA Design and Muirhead.
