Animal Aircare partners with K9 JETS and expands operations to Luton airport
Pet transport company, Animal Aircare, has announced a new partnership with K9 JETS, a private charter jet service for pet transport, and the transfer of its operations from Farnborough to London Luton Airport.
Animal Aircare provides airport accommodation and pet-checking service for animals in transit, both in and out of the UK, managing Border Control Post (BCP) at Gatwick Airport and another animal reception centre at Heathrow.
Jake Holliday, head of animal welfare of Animal Aircare, said: “We are thrilled to partner with K9 JETS at London Luton Airport. This collaboration allows us to bring our extensive expertise in animal welfare and transportation to K9 JETS’ clients and their pets.”
The company has been working in the animal welfare industry for over 25 years, and operates 24/7, every day of the year, across a range of major London airports.
The new partnership will Animal Aircare access to K9 JETS’ dedicated terminal at Luton airport, based out of Terminal 2, that is operated by Signature Aviation, a global aviation terminal operator.
Holliday said: “K9 JETS’ dedicated terminal is an exciting development that will allow them to continue to grow and provide an alternative to pets travelling in cargo.”
Adam Golder, founder and client services director of K9 JETS, said: “This change represents an exciting landmark for K9 JETS, as we’re now able to offer our customers and their four-legged friends a dedicated terminal providing more space, comfort, and privacy. The move will not only improve flight frequency but also enable us to expand our network of destinations and continue to serve our ever-growing community.”
