International transport and logistics provider cargo-partner is celebrating its 40th anniversary as a global business in the logistics industry.
Furthermore, the cargo-partner team in Ireland is also celebrating five years of being closer to its Irish customers and partners.
cargo-partner opened its Ireland office in 2018. The team consists of over 20 employees, with the country’s main office located in Dublin and additional remote sales and service locations across the nation.
The Irish team supports local and international customers from all industries, with bespoke transport, storage and customs clearance services.
cargo-partner Ireland colleagues recently held a dinner, joined by Advantage Austria Ireland, the Irish Exporters Association and a variety of customers, industry peers and embassy representatives to celebrate the two anniversary milestones.
Fergal Keenan, cargo-partner’s managing director for Ireland, said: “Our growth has always been an organic one, driven by the growing demand of our customers.
“As our business celebrates its 40th anniversary, more locally our Ireland team is celebrating its fifth anniversary, having now been part of the local community and closer to the Irish market since 2018.
“Our Dublin office and our profile in Ireland provide ideal connections to all major airports, ports and logistics hubs, enabling us to help ship goods across the globe.
“As logistics experts, we can offer a range of transport and warehousing solutions to help our customers find the optimal balance between speed, cost and destination.”
Keenan added: “Furthermore, thanks to our extensive network in Europe, Asia and the USA, we can provide regular fixed air freight, sea freight and road transport services with reserved capacities on all major trade lanes.”
As well as recognising key anniversary milestones locally and globally, the Ireland team have reported a strong year, with the introduction of an enhanced road freight network across the Irish sea, ideally placed for moving goods between the UK and Ireland.
The local cargo-partner team has also continued to expand its warehousing capabilities, successfully supporting an increasing number of Irish-based customers with control tower solutions and continuing to provide comprehensive and expert import/export customs services.
