Frank Van Gelder, secretary general of Pharma.Aero, said: “The ongoing influx of new members underscores the immense potential for collaboration in the life sciences logistics and supply chain industry.

“By attracting such diverse expertise and commitment, Pharma.Aero is expanding its reach and impact within our field, to deliver tangible value and enhance the end-to-end supply chain of healthcare for the future.”

Pharma.Aero fosters collaboration among its members and associate partners representing all segments of the life science and MedTech supply chain by developing projects that address genuine challenges of the industry.

Furthermore, the organisation created the Life Sciences Manufacturers Advisory Platform (LMAP) as a dedicated collaborative eco-system to provide guidance and expertise to shape the activities and projects undertaken by Pharma.Aero.

With 50 years of experience in the air cargo industry, Cargolux covers over 75 destinations and has more than 85 offices in over 50 countries. Cargolux also operates an extensive global trucking network to more than 250 destinations.

Olav Glorvigen, director product management at Cargolux Airlines, said: “Cargolux is pleased to support Pharma.Aero’s efforts to enhance the streamlining and standardisation of the air freight industry’s pharma segment.

“Pharma.Aero has evolved as a global organisation to provide an ongoing connection between academia and the air freight industry.

With biopharma, expected to grow more than 11% yearly over the next decade, it is a great opportunity for Cargolux to support this endeavor.”
