Hong Kong Air Cargo starts ‘milestone’ new charter service

Hong Kong Air Cargo has launched a new Dongguan-Hong Kong-Delhi charter service.

The new service started on August 17, and is to operate twice-weekly.

Sharing the announcement on its LinkedIn page, the all-cargo airline stated: “This is a milestone for us to collaborate with Dongguan Port Bay Area Express Group, and Shenzhen AAA Logistics Group.

“This charter service will focus on serving the high value-added industries in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, sea-air transhipment enabling cargo acceptance in Dongguan HKIA Logistics Park, transit and onboard our direct flight departure from Hong Kong to Delhi and other destinations in India.”

Hong Kong Air Cargo’s goals for the new service is to provide efficient and convenient logistics channels for enterprises in Dongguan and the Greater Bay Area.

Hong Kong Air Cargo currently operates flights to various charter and scheduled destinations with five Airbus A330-200F widebody freighters; these destinations include Almaty, Bangkok, Chennai, Delhi, Dhaka, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Istanbul, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Liege, Manila, Milan, Mumbai, Phnom Penh, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney, Taipei, Tokyo, and Zhengzhou.
