Norse Atlantic Airways has renewed its partnership with Jettainer ahead of schedule, extending the companies’ cooperation on unit load device (ULD) fleet management.

Under the renewed agreement, Jettainer will continue to supply and manage the airline’s ULD fleet, including containers and pallets, in support of its long-haul network.

The solution is based on a flexible, airline-specific fleet concept designed to adapt to changing operational requirements. Jettainer said fleet management is supported by its JettwareNG IT platform, giving the airline visibility over station inventory, ULD history, movement tracking and KPI-based reporting.

Norse Atlantic launched operations in 2022 and serves long-haul routes connecting Europe with destinations in the United States, Africa and Asia using a Boeing 787 fleet. With capacity adjusted in line with seasonal demand, operational flexibility remains a key requirement for the carrier.

According to Jettainer, the platform helps provide end-to-end traceability across the ULD fleet and supports reliable equipment availability across the airline’s network.

Thom-Arne Norheim, Norse Atlantic Airways chief operational officer, said: “From the very start of our partnership, Jettainer has provided reliable and flexible operational support. The close operational coordination and transparent fleet monitoring give us the stability we need in a dynamic market environment.”

Dr. Jan-Wilhelm Breithaupt, chief executive of Jettainer, said: “Extending the contract ahead of schedule reflects the strong partnership we have built since 2022. In a highly seasonal environment, transparency and continuous performance monitoring are essential to ensure consistent ULD availability across the network.”
