Indonesian start-up cargo airline PT Rusky Aero Indonesia (Raindo United Services) has officially received its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the country’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
The certification brings Raindo United Services one step closer to operating its first domestic and international routes.
The cargo airline’s first Boeing 737-800BCF (PK-RUS) arrived in Indonesia in July, with the second aircraft (PK-RFS) of the same type being received on August 9, 2023.
Raindo United Services has stated the achievement shows its commitment to providing a new era of air logistics in the country.
Benny Rustanto, founder and commissioner of Raindo United Services, said “We are proud to be able to provide an offering to accelerate Indonesia’s economic growth in accordance with the spirit of Keep Moving Forward for an Advanced Indonesia.”
“We also express our deepest gratitude to all parties involved in the process of fulfilling the complete requirements and administration of this AOC. Hopefully this is a good start to present a barrier-free solution for air logistics distribution.”
