ULD specialist Jettainer has appointed Thorsten Riekert as its chief commercial officer, a newly created position for the firm.

Riekert will be responsible for Jettainer’s commercial strategy aiming at advancing the company’s global growth trajectory as well as continuing to drive the development of Jettainer’s ULD management solution ‘ULD Select’.

Before joining Jettainer in 2015 Riekert held various positions within the Lufthansa Group where he strengthened his skills and expertise in sales and management.

Jettainer says the appointment of Riekert is an integral part of its strategic reorganisation, following the recent new appointments of general managers in the Americas and the Middle East & Africa region, and with new managers for APAC and Europe to follow soon.
