Ten airlines have now approved Envirotainer’s new ‘Releye’ RAP container

Envirotainer has said 10 airlines have now approved its new ‘Releye’ RAP container.

It is a milestone for the container, which was only launched a month ago.

The airlines to have approved the Releye RAP are Cathay Pacific, China Airlines, EVA Air, Qatar Airlines, Saudi Airlines Cargo, Singapore Airlines, Swiss, TAP Air Portugal, Korean Airlines and Asiana Airlines.

The Releye RAP offers a temperature-controlled 5-pallet solution and is the largest of the new generation Releye air freight containers. Envirotainer said the RAP is the only one of its type in the world.

The container can be monitored and maintained with Envirotainer’s new ‘Control Tower’ service.

“We are extremely pleased to have 10 airline partners approve the new Releye RAP container so far,” said Envirotainer’s head of global key accounts, airlines Don Harrison. “They’re among the first to qualify the container for use on their fleets and will be able to offer medical shippers the very best in cold chain transportation.”
