ECS eyes European expansion with My Freighter partnership

ECS Group has entered a commercial partnership with My Freighter to expand cargo connectivity between Europe and Central Asia. The collaboration began operations in January 2026, with ECS Group deploying its sales and commercial infrastructure across several European markets, including France, the Netherlands and Belgium.

My Freighter operates freighter services from European airports such as Liège, Maastricht, Basel, Tallinn and Paris Charles de Gaulle to its hub in Tashkent, with onward connections across Central Asia, including Almaty. The routes target a trade corridor that has seen limited direct capacity, with operations structured around regular freighter rotations and adjustable capacity.

Cargo volumes on the network are largely driven by inbound e‑commerce shipments from China. These flows are supported by My Freighter’s fleet of Boeing 767‑300 freighters, which the airline uses under a flexible operating model intended to respond to short‑term changes in demand.

In addition to its freighter operations, My Freighter operates passenger services with Airbus A320 aircraft to destinations including Istanbul, Dubai World Central, Delhi and Bangkok. The passenger network provides supplementary bellyhold capacity and additional feeder options into the Tashkent hub.

ECS Group said it aims to use its international sales network, commercial expertise and digital tools to support My Freighter’s market entry and traffic development in Europe. The partnership is positioned as part of ECS Group’s broader strategy to support airline partners in scaling operations and developing new cargo lanes.
