Supply chain visibility platform FourKites has introduced a new AI-powered innovation that is said to enable shippers, carriers and 3PLs to track 100 per cent of air freight with “highly accurate and automated estimated times of arrival” (ETAs).

‘Dynamic ETA for Air’ leverages machine learning algorithms and knowledge graphs and is accurate to within nine hours, FourKites said, enabling businesses to spend less time and money resolving delays.

Expanding on the market need for Dynamic ETA for Air, FourKites noted that air freight is “notoriously difficult to track”. Real-time visibility into all air freight with accurate predictive ETAs therefore “empowers supply chain partners to optimise downstream planning, reduce the time and expense of manual track-and-trace efforts, and increase customer satisfaction in the process”.
