Among the shipments to date have been 80,000 doses from the company’s Madrid hub to the Canary Islands and the first batch of the Moderna vaccine to Dublin and Gran Canaria.
IAG Cargo noted the importance its Constant Climate product and dedicated facilities at London Heathrow, Madrid and Dublin, with the doses transported to North America and Europe.
The company’s chief commercial officer John Cheetham said he was delighted to pass the milestone. “Transporting Covid-19 vaccines represent the latest effort in our ongoing work to support the fight against Covid-19,” he commented.
