Turkish Cargo is transporting UNICEF’s (United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund) Covid-19 vaccines and health equipment around the world.
Some 1.7 million vaccine doses supplied by UNICEF have been delivered by Turkish Cargo from India to Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo, in cooperation with global shipping company Kuehne + Nagel.
Turkish Cargo has also delivered “hundreds of thousands” of UNICEF’s Covid-19 syringes from Barcelona to Tunisia, and Covid-19 vaccines from Amsterdam to Kiev, Tbilisi and Amman.
In recent months, the company said it had also delivered China’s Sinovac vaccines to different destinations in the world.
