ISS Global Forwarding and Chapman Freeborn combine to overcome logistical challenge

ISS Global and Chapman Freeborn

Chapman Freeborn Air Chartering has helped ISS Global Forwarding Qatar deliver urgent construction materials from Bangkok, Thailand to Doha, Qatar.

The order consisted of 88 tons of material, and the partners chartered multiple flights to airlift oversized wooden crates and related materials.

The Chapman Freeborn and ISS Global teams worked around the clock to ensure charters operated on schedule, in the face of challenges brought on by the Covid-19 crisis such as acquiring requisite landing permits, crew rest and handling.

“From origin to final destination, our door to door product was capitalised and ISS takes pride in handling this time critical and prestigious shipment,” said ISS Global’s country manager Qatar Shamil Habib.

“We are proud to have highly trained professional staff collaborate alongside our trusted global partner Chapman Freeborn for expertly handling all challenges professionally and delivering the promise. The timely execution of this shipment is another example of ISS’s commitment towards our customers trust in our logistics service solutions.”

Chapman Freeborn’s cargo manager India Naresh Bhatia commented: “This project was one of the most exciting and important ones that we have undertaken to date.

“We take pride in showcasing our professionalism and fulfilling customer gratification with vigilant planning, logistics co-ordination, mobilising aircraft and permits even during a pandemic. We thank ISS Global Qatar for their valued support throughout the project.”
