Global aviation logistics specialist Menzies Aviation has appointed Morven McCrindle to the newly created role of executive vice president – fuels.

McCrindle will lead the company’s fuels growth strategy, with Menzies stating its aim is to “balance its portfolio mix across fuels, cargo and ground handling”.

She will work closely with regional Menzies teams to “identify and capitalise on strategic growth opportunities as well as optimise operational practices to further enhance efficiency”.

McCrindle offers expertise and experience in fuels procurement and operations, customer relationship management and large-scale airport development and investment projects.

She has worked at Delta Air Lines for 13 years, most recently holding the position of regional director, airport affairs for Europe, Middle East, Africa and India. McCrindle also served as general manager, global jet fuel procurement & operations for the airline.

“Morven brings with her a wealth of aviation experience and fuels operations expertise to this newly created role, which will be invaluable as we look to further grow our global fuelling footprint and optimise our services portfolio,” said Menzies Aviation chief operating officer Mervyn Walker.

“We are looking forward to working closely with Morven to pursue our ambitious growth strategy and to further develop best practice across our fuelling operations.”
