Air Malta has extended a contract with Network Airline Services to provide a total cargo management solution for a further two years.
Network Airline Services said its partnership with Air Malta over the past few years had allowed the airline to expand its cargo business. Network Airline Services added that it had secured income for Air Malta “month on month, year on year, whilst allowing a better synergy including important functions such as sales, marketing, pricing and revenue management, cargo reservations, revenue accounting, back-office administration, IT systems, cargo handling and interline contracts”.
“We are proud to extend our agreement with Network Airline Services, as our preferred global cargo general sales agent,” said Air Malta’s head of cargo sales and marketing John Vella. “With over 35 years of air cargo management experience, Network Airline Services are strategically positioned, globally, to assist Air Malta with its ever-expanding cargo operation.”
Network Airline Services’ sales director John Gilfeather commented: “We are very proud to be extending the total cargo management agreement with Air Malta. We are all looking forward to continuing working with the Air Malta staff, suppliers and customers to further our relationship with them. Air Malta provides excellent customer service to companies and individuals, sending goods to and from Malta.
“Network Airline Services has a proven track record of growing airlines’ cargo revenues through its global network of offices and IT teams to build a carrier’s cargo brand as well as target new revenue streams on their behalf. NAS looks forward to diversifying Air Malta’s product range and global coverage even further. We will continue to develop further relationships with other carriers and listen to our customers to gauge how we can further tailor our service around their individual needs.”
