Trip & Co’s joint venture with Netherlands-based technology company SII has led to it registering some of the innovations on the patent and trademark office’s database.
Trip says that it has received a “tremendous number of requests from companies and corporations” across many different countries since the venture was first announced back in April.
Due to the Covid-19 crisis, many companies are coming up with creative initiatives in order to develop new types of business models for airlines.
The new products are designed specifically for cargo-in-cabin applications and are suitable for all sorts of cargo, efficient loading and unloading, resulting in higher revenue.
Trip & Co delivers products that guarantee air cargo safety and protection. Examples of the cargo-in-cabin solutions that Trip & Co and SII have recently developed include the Cargo Seat Bag and the Cargo Stowage Container.
Both of these products will be delivered with STC approval as they meet all the required aviation regulations.
“We have received a huge number of requests from companies all over the world to create more cargo-in cabin-solutions such the Cargo Seat Bag, which can help to overcome these difficult and challenging times in the aviation industry,” noted Trip & Co CEO Tijmen Koster. “This gives us confidence that we are on the right track.”
The company adds that an additional range of products will shortly be made available to the market.
