MRO Management Feb/Mar 2020 – Digital Issue

MRO Management FebMar 2020

Welcome to the exciting new issue of MRO Management. This is our 22nd year of publication and as you will see, we have given the magazine a fresh, contemporary look that I hope you enjoy. Inside this issue you’ll find some great new regular features plus in-depth reports and I am very pleased to announce that we are increasing the frequency of the magazine to six times a year. This will give us the opportunity to bring you the very latest on this fast- moving industry.

Our experienced editorial team will continue to bring you the most comprehensive coverage of the industry and with our fresh new approach, we aim to be your magazine of choice, bringing you the very latest from experts and industry figureheads. We will be concentrating on two of the biggest challenges facing the industry today – training and sustainability – and engaging with key industry executives to seek out their views and opinions.

Coupled with this, we have revamped our website – see aviationbusinessnews.com – bringing you the latest news and views in our industry.

I hope you enjoy reading our new-look MRO Management.

The industry seems to be in a good place right now. MRO Middle East in Dubai at the end of February will be a good barometer and we hope to see you there. Certainly, there is con dence for the long term with the construction of new facilities such as XEOS (see page 28); Avia Prime, the Czech-Polish aviation conglomerate winning a tender to acquire 99% of JAT Tehnika. in Serbia (see page 20); and, despite some uncertainty about Europe, a US company, STS Aviation, making UK acquisitions with Apple Aviation (see page 32). Our focus on the environment continues with a look at a new road map for sustainable aviation fuels in the UK (see page 52).
