Aviation Business News is looking for the best employers in the aviation industry to champion the careers and opportunities our exciting sector offers.
Our Best Places To Work In Aviation Awards 2026 are open for registration and, once again, entrants and winners are able to earn the accolade absolutely free of charge.
Eligible companies will exclusively, or predominantly, derive their income from aviation and can be based anywhere on the planet.

Once registered ABN’s Best Places To Work In Aviation partner Workforce Research Group will conduct the independent survey that will determine this year’s winners.
ABN’s stable of B2B magazine titles including MRO Management, Aircraft Cabin Management, and Low Cost & Regional Airline Business will all be supporting the awards.
Due to the particularly critical shortage of aircraft technicians this year we will be putting a particular focus on businesses in the engineering, supply chain and logistics sectors.
Lee Hayhurst, chief operating officer of ABN, said: “While aviation faces a general manpower challenge, no where is it more acute than in the hangar where the sector faces an aging workforce and too few young people entering the industry.
“At ABN we’re determined to do our bit to challenge perceptions and showcase a career in aviation – whether in engineering, in the cabin, back office operations, or the many support services that sustain the industry.”

ABN will be partnering with ADS, the owners of Farnborough International Air Show, this year on the Best Places awards after it established a new ADS Skills division.
Paul Oxley, Director General of ADS Skills: “ADS is delighted to be partnering with ABN’s ‘Best Places’ campaign to highlight what a career in one of the UK’s most innovative industries truly looks like.
“As the trade association for aerospace, we know our sector is home to hundreds of forward‑thinking employers who are investing in their people, nurturing the next generation of talent, and delivering work that the world relies on every day.
“We are very much looking forward to hearing stories from across the industry and celebrating the businesses that are leading by example.”
