Travelport and low cost carrier easyJet have completed the renewal of their content distribution deal.

The agreement sees easyJet fares continue to be available for third party travel agencies to sell on the Travelport+ modern retailing platform.

GDS and technology developer, Travelport, said the partnership gives agents “retail-ready content while delivering speed, choice, and flexibility to travellers across the globe”.

Sheelagh Mahoney, head of distribution and channels for easyJet, said: “Extending our relationship with Travelport is a key part of our business growth strategy of offering our great value fares to Europe’s most popular routes.

“Travelport has been a strong partner in helping distribute our content and services to travel agencies around the world and we look forward to continuing our relationship with them.”

The Travelport+ platform allows users to compare the full range of fares and services from easyJet in a single view.

Travelport claims to offer “industry-leading search speeds” 23% faster (0.84 seconds), helping agents to book more and make more margin, increase revenue, and grow their business.

Damian Hickey, Travelport global head of travel partners, said:  “We’re delighted to continue supporting easyJet’s growth strategy by providing our agency customers with uninterrupted content from one of Europe’s largest airlines.

“Travelport+ is the only modern retailing platform designed for agents, helping airlines like easyJet offer agents access to more low-cost flights and more personalization options than ever before.”
