This design is inspired by the iconic house style from 1966, created by the Dutch designer Thijs Postma. A nice detail can be found on the inside of the sharklets – the raised wing tips. The retro style can also be seen there, through the window, from your seat.
The airline is retiring its Boeing 737 fleet in favour of the cleaner, quieter neo versions of A320-family aircraft. The ninth Airbus A321neo is expected at Schiphol on 5 April. By the end of 2025, the Transavia fleet will consist of fourteen Airbus A321neos.
