Former UK Transport Minister joins RVL Aviation

Charter Airline RVL Aviation has appointed Rt. Hon. Mark Harper as a non-executive director of the company.

Harper was Secretary of State for Transport from October 2022 to July 2024 and previously served as Government Chief Whip from May 2015 until July 2016. Other Government appointments included Minister for Political and Constitutional Reform, Minister for Immigration and Minister for Disabled People and he served as shadow Minister for Defence. He was the MP for the Forest of Dean constituency from 2005 to 2024.

A qualified Chartered Accountant, Harper previously worked for KPMG and the Intel Corporation in finance, business operations and marketing.

“We are delighted to welcome Mark to the Board,” said Dave Connor, CEO of RVL Aviation. “He brings a great deal of experience and practical wisdom to our company, with extensive knowledge of Whitehall and Westminster as well as prior business experience as a Chartered Accountant.”
