IndiGo has completed an 18-month project to shift its information from local data centres and into the cloud.
Neetan Chopra, IndiGo’s Chief Digital and Information Officer, said “IndiGo’s cloud migration initiative has put us on the fast track of our digital transformation journey. We set ourselves a challenging timeline to fully transition to the cloud and close our data centers, and we’re proud to announce that we achieved this
goal on time”.
The migration to the cloud was identified as being important as the airline continues to scale up. Recently, the carrier’s growth was recognised with the ‘Award of Honour’ for its contribution to the Indian aviation industry at the Indo-US Tourism and Hospitality Summit, hosted by the Indo American Chamber of Commerce (IACC). The award was presented to Mr. Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales, IndiGo by the Guest of Honour, Mr.R Venkataramani, Attorney General of India on August 23, in New Delhi
