The Brazilian ANAC airworthiness authority (Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil)has cleared the Daher Kodiak 900 for use in the country.
The Kodiak 900 was introduced in 2022 and is a larger, faster version of the Kodiak 100 turboprop.
Daher had identified Brazil as a significant market as it has a need for small short-take off and landing (STOL) aircraft.

“With Brazil’s airworthiness certification, the Kodiak 900 now joins our Kodiak 100 to meet the country’s full scope of transportation needs,” explained Daher Aircraft Division CEO Nicolas Chabbert. “These aircraft are perfectly suited for everything from serving the agriculture, farming, construction and public safety sectors to corporate travel, regional airline modernization and utility missions such as humanitarian operations and parachute jumping.”
Chabbert noted that a growing fleet of Kodiak 100s already are operating in Brazil, along with an established customer base for Daher Aircraft’s fast and efficient TBM airplane family.
The Kodiak 900’s stretched fuselage provides a total cabin volume increase of 20 percent to 309 cubic feet (8.75 cubic meters). It features a 10-seat layout, which is adaptable depending on the use scenario.
