LATAM Airlines Group has announced an agreement with Embraer to acquire up to 74 E195-E2 aircraft with a deal including 24 firm orders and 50 purchase options.
The firm order is valued at $2.1 billion at list prices and the airline says the deal requires no changes to its leverage or liquidity metrics.

Attributing the purchase decision to the ‘excellent economics and versatility of the Embraer E195-E2’, Roberto Alvo, CEO of LATAM Airlines Group said the order: “Will allow us to continue on our path of profitable growth by enhancing that connectivity through the opening of new destinations, allowing our passengers to have even more options and bringing communities closer, boosting also economic and social development”
Deliveries begin in late 2026, starting with LATAM’s Brazil subsidiary. The new aircraft will provide greater operational flexibility, and will join LATAM’s current fleet of 362 aircraft, supporting its growing network, which has expanded from 129 to 160 destinations since 2021.
