AerFin has completed the purchase of a 737-800 landing gear from Hawker Pacific Aerospace, which is part of the Lufthansa Technik Group.

The purchase and leaseback agreement has seen AerFin acquire the landing gear in fully overhauled condition and leaseback to Hawker Pacific Aerospace to support the operation of Hawker’s narrowbody programmes.

“We’re pleased to be able to offer this unique structure to Hawker Pacific and offer them with a flexible asset support solution that meets the needs of their operation,” said AerFin’s director – asset sales and MRO Nick Filce.

“Additionally, we are pleased to broaden our portfolio of high quality assets with the addition of the 737-800 landing gears.”

Hawker Pacific Aerospace’s head of product line landing gear Anett Seifert-Amejka commented: “Aside from a seamless transaction process, AerFin is providing us with a flexible, cost-efficient solution that will support our on-going operation. This deal further strengthens our long-term and prosperous partnership together.”
