Asset manager and aircraft lessor Falko reports that it added 23 aircraft to its portfolio during the second quarter of this year.

Activity was focused on the turboprop sector and the ATR product in particular, with 3 ATR 72s being delivered to Loganair and Emerald Airlines. An Embraer E195 was also delivered to SAS Link. Eight aircraft were sold and four aircraft were delivered on lease to customers in Europe. Falko’s portfolio at the end of the first half of 2022 totalled 266 aircraft on lease to 42 customers worldwide.

Mark Hughes Falko’s chief commercial officer, commenting on the 36 latest quarterly transactions during the quarter, said he saw recurring demand for all regional aircraft types.

“This quarter saw a substantial transaction volume involving ATR products where Falko now manages 75 ATR42/72 aircraft making us one of the leaders in this space,” he added. “We continue to see confidence from customers worldwide and across all product types which makes us positive about demand in the second half of 2022.”
