Skyworld Aviation is celebrating the completion of 600 transactions with the sale of two Avro RJ100 aircraft.
The aircraft marketing organisation ended 2020 with the sale of two Avro RJ100 aircraft with serial numbers E3245 (SE-DSS) and 3248 (SE-DSU). The company says the transaction marked the end of a very challenging year.
Skyworld Aviation worked with CFS on this transaction and has placed another two aircraft for Braathens. Three of the six remaining Avro aircraft from the Braathens fleet are under offer, leaving two Avro RJ85s and one young Avro RJ100 still available.
SE-DSS and SE-DSU were sold to CFS Aero, a maintenance and repair facility with EASA Part 145 and FAA Part 145 approval that specialises in Honeywell ALF502 and LF507 engines. CFS has recently purchased the OEM rights for these engines from Honeywell and has a large dedicated team of Honeywell trained technicians and engineers, supporting a global network of 146 and Avro operators with all powerplant requirements, including a Honeywell engine programme. CFS is also the UK Distributor for Rotax Engines.
Skyworld Aviation has offices in the UK and Canada, specialising in the regional sector. Established in 1996, the company primarily offers regional aircraft marketing and lease management services to a large client base worldwide and this month celebrates its 25th anniversary. To date, the company has concluded 601 aircraft related transactions for around 200 clients to a value of over US$1 billion.
