Certified Aviation Services celebrates 30th anniversary

Certified Aviation Services

Certified Aviation Services (CAS), a provider of MRO services for fleet operators, is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

Who are Certified Aviation Services?

CAS started in 1990 and was acquired by Aero-Mark, in 2005. This privately held organisation allows CAS to customise its services to the customer’s satisfaction.

All of CAS’ technicians are held in strict compliance with FAA anti-drug and alcohol programmes, as well as every one of them receiving technical, procedural, and hazmat training.

Via its nationwide network, CAS conducts line maintenance, modifications, installations, component overhaul, as well as heavy recovery and repairs.

CAS also describes itself as an expert in the field of company leasing, OEMs and global adjusters.

Unbeatable records

In its 25+ year history, CAS has acquired a flawless FAA record. CAS has dedicated quality assurance managers to perform FAA, customer, and internal audits.

Over its three decades, it has set up three growing divisions: line maintenance, component overhaul, as well as heavy recovery and repairs.

Each division is committed to providing its customers with innovative, cost-effective solutions when and where they need it. The company does this by utilising a Plan-Do-Check-Act methodology to deliver consistent quality.

CAS received the FAA Diamond Award, the highest honour in the Federal Aviation Administration’s Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Awards Program, in 2018. The award is designed to reward technicians and companies who actively pursue additional training to enhance their aviation knowledge.

The future for CAS

CAS’s determination has propelled it to the top of its field. This year, CAS is adding its own permanent hangar operation with two hangars at San Bernardino International Airport (SBD).

CAS Chairman Mark Lee stated: “We are thrilled to mark 30 years in the industry. It’s a moment to honour CAS’s past and anticipate its future. CAS found its footing in the last four years, as demonstrated by its 30 percent revenue increase, driven by its current customers.”
