Landing gear solutions company Héroux-Devtek has appointed Didier Evrard as director.

With 40 years of experience in European aerospace, Evrard most recently served as executive vice president and head of programs at Airbus Commercial Aircraft. In nearly five years in the role, he was responsible for all civil aircraft programmes, ensuring their profitability and leading product policy.

In the eight years prior, Evrard was head of the A350 XWB programme, overseeing its technical and industrial development. Between 2002 and 2007, he acted as program lead at defence conglomerate MBDA.
