Aircraft end of life service company AerFin has appointed Lucas Mollan as chairman of the board with immediate effect.
Mollan has more than 30 years of aviation experience. He has previously served as managing director of Thomas Cook Aircraft Engineering and held board positions as technical director with a number of UK airlines.
He also spent over 10 years in the aircraft leasing industry as chief technical officer at Avolon and then CDB Aviation.
AerFin’s CEO and founder Bob James commented: “Having known Lucas over many years, I am delighted to welcome him as chairman of AerFin in the knowledge that his wealth of leasing, technical and operational experience will be of significant benefit to AerFin as we continue to innovate bringing sustainable solutions to the aftermarket in the current environment.”
Mollan stated: “AerFin is a strong business, always ready to innovate, with a very capable management team. I am looking forward to working with Bob, CataCap and the board to help take the business to the next level.”
