C&L Aerospace has announced it has purchased an E190 aircraft from Nordic Aviation Capital, which is currently being disassembled in Portugal.
The parts from the aircraft will join C&L’s growing E170/190 inventory at the company’s main headquarters in Bangor, Maine.
Chris Kilgour, chief executive of C&L Aviation Group, said: “C&L has been investing in our E170/190 offerings for several years now with this, the third such aircraft we have purchased for disassembly.
“We support operators around the world in a variety of ways, including spare parts supply and exchanges to power-by-the-hour programmes and consignment inventories. We also add value by assisting operators with inventory management and component repair.”
C&L says that as with all of its inventory, the E190 parts will be inspected and made ready for sale. The process includes photographing and barcoding each part and corresponding documentation and sending viewable links on all customer quotes which promotes more transparency during the buying process.
This news follows C&L previously having purchased and disassembled two E170 aircraft whose parts are also available for purchase.
