Amman-based aircraft MRO facility and engineering arm of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), Joramco, has signed two new agreements at the Dubai Airshow with Emirates and SalamAir.
The agreements focus on Joramco continuing to provide heavy maintenance services for Emirates’ B777 fleet till December 2028, and to carry out C-checks on SalamAir’s A320 fleet.
Commenting on deal with Emirates, Fraser Currie, chief strategy and commercial officer of DAE Engineering, said:, “We take great pride in our enduring relationship with Emirates. This extension is a testament to the competitive MRO offerings we’ve built over the years and to Joramco’s reputation for reliable, timely delivery and maintenance solutions.”
On the deal with SalamAir, Oman’s low-cost carrier, Currie said: “We are pleased to welcome SalamAir to our growing customer portfolio. Joramco‘s focus on safety, quality and on time delivery continues to position us as a trusted maintenance partner for airlines across the region. This agreement reflects SalamAir confidence in our technical capabilities, and we look forward to building a productive long-term relationship.”
