Carsten Behrens becomes CEO at N3 Engine Overhaul Services

N3 Engine Overhaul Services has appointed Carsten Behrens as CEO, in a move that became effective last month (April).

The company is a joint venture between Lufthansa Technik and Rolls-Royce.

Behrens succeeds Nicole Fehr, who has managed the Arnstadt plant since 2018 together with CFO Stefan Landes, and is now leaving the company as planned to take on a new role at Rolls-Royce.

Behrens joins N3 from Rolls-Royce Germany and he has more than 20 years of experience in aviation. He has worked for many years at MTU at various locations in the areas of engineering, production, sales and engine overhaul before taking over the management of the joint venture with Pratt & Whitney Canada in Ludwigsfelde.

Prior of joining Rolls-Royce, Behrens was managing director at Leistritz Turbine Technology.

N3 management must always consists of two representatives of the owners according to the agreement between the parent companies, with their responsibility divided between the operational and commercial department.
