HAECO Group has appointed Klaus-Peter Leinauer as vice president of group commercial for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Based in Germany and reporting to the group’s Hong Kong-based chief commercial officer, he will oversee HAECO’s efforts in strengthening commercial focus in the EMEA regions.

Leinauer has spent more than 20 years in leadership positions with various MRO and OEM companies.

To support Leinauer, Peter Eaton and Dennis Kimm – who were both previously sales directors for HAECO Cabin Solutions in Europe – have also joined the EMEA team.

The new HAECO Group Commercial organisation started operations in July 2021 with four regionally-based commercial teams in place to support customers based in Asia Pacific (APAC), the Chinese mainland, Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) and the Americas.

HAECO said the new organisation was established to help enhance its “customer focus and supplement existing commercial relationships with its customers”.

“We are very happy to have Klaus-Peter, Dennis and Peter join the group commercial team, which will continue to serve HAECO’s existing customers, increase its market visibility in the region and deliver solutions based on HAECO Group’s wide range of capabilities,” said chief commercial officer Richard Kendall. “Under the proven leadership of Klaus-Peter, the team has the bandwidth and experience to execute our strategic marketing and growth plans in the Europe, Middle East & Africa region.”
