Iberia Maintenance has selected Ramco Systems to implement its aviation software, Ramco Aviation M&E MRO Suite.

The ERP (enterprise resource planning) software will replace multiple systems to unify Iberia operations across airframe maintenance, engine and component shops as well as the supply chain.

Ramco said Iberia Maintenance would also benefit from digital enablers such as apps, artificial intelligence, dashboards and integration to ecosystem offerings powered by the software company.

The partners said the software would provide four key advantages: mobility in accessing documentation and assigning maintenance tasks online; information and real-time updates of the work carried out on the aircraft; the “reliability and agility” of having a single source of information for Iberia’s MRO production management system; and a “more sustainable” paperless solution.

The ERP system will be used by more than 3,000 Iberia maintenance personnel, while a team of 50 people will work in its implementation project.
