Aircraft and engine aftermarket solutions provider, AerFin, has announced the appointment of Steven Ades as chief financial officer, effective immediately.
Ades has worked at AerFin since its inception in 2010, and will now take on an expanded remit, continuing to oversee strategy and supply chain alongside his new responsibilities.
This transition follows Matthew Clay’s decision to step down as chief financial officer.
In a press release, AerFin stated: “Steven’s appointment strengthens our financial leadership as we continue to scale. His deep expertise, having served as finance director until 2022 before moving to chief strategy officer, guarantees continuity and a strategic approach to AerFin’s next phase of growth.
“In support of the finance team, Brendan O’Neill has joined as interim financial controller, providing essential day-to-day operational leadership while supporting the search for a permanent FC.”
The statement continued: “Additionally, the marketing team will now report to James Bennett, chief commercial officer, reinforcing the alignment between sales and marketing to better serve our customers and stakeholders, helping them see the way ahead.
“These structural refinements reflect our ongoing commitment to enhancing cross-functional collaboration and positioning AerFin for long-term success.”
