The company’s membership reinforces AFRA’s commitment to leveraging industry-leading knowledge to maximise material recovery and environmental responsibility in aircraft end-of-service management.
AFRA president Brent Webb, said: “StandardAero’s deep knowledge of aviation engines and engine disassembly is a valuable addition to AFRA’s efforts in promoting responsible aircraft end-of-service management. Their expertise strengthens our ability to develop best management practices (BMP) that optimise sustainability across the industry.”
As AFRA continues to drive advancements in sustainable aircraft and component recycling through research, industry partnerships, and policy initiatives, Skrobarcek’s appointment further enhances the organisation’s leadership in shaping the future of sustainable aviation.
Skrobarcek said: “StandardAero is excited to be part of AFRA’s efforts, and I look forward to working alongside industry leaders to drive sustainability forward.
“By leveraging our expertise in aviation engines and environmental responsibility, we aim to enhance the industry’s approach to aircraft and component recycling at the end-of-service.”
