AJW Group and Fokker Services Group have signed a five-year component maintenance agreement.
The agreement covers various aircraft platforms and associated engine types such as Airbus A320ceo and A320neo as well as Boeing 737NG and MAX aircraft, supporting AJW Group’s global customer base.
A signing ceremony was held this week (20 October) during Aviation Week’s MRO Europe conference.
“We are delighted to have signed the component maintenance agreement with Fokker, which compliments the world-class MRO services we deliver from our flagship maintenance facility, AJW Technique, in Montreal,” said AJW Group’s senior vice president operations Barry Swift.
“What better place than MRO Europe to announce strategic collaboration on MRO capabilities which will further support our continued commitment to providing our global operators with the service excellence for which AJW Group is known. After ninety years our vision continues to be on efficiency to satisfy customer demand, and this agreement with Fokker, reinforces AJWs’ global standing as a world-leading independent aircraft supply chain solutions provider.”
Fokker Services Group’s vice president marketing and sales Leon Kouters commented: “We are proud to provide AJW Group with our Airbus and Boeing component MRO capabilities. Through our repair facilities in the Netherlands and the US, we will support AJW Group’s vast customer base by offering high-quality repair support and fast turnaround times.”
Parts under the agreement will be repaired in-house at Fokker Services Group’s three facilities across the Netherlands and the US. This covers a variety of parts including air starters, starter valves, starter generators, avionic panels, and captain seats.
Fokker Service Group’s newest capabilities, CFM LEAP engine accessories, are also part of the agreement for which Fokker Services Group is an authorised OEM warranty repair station.
