Embraer has signed a contract to extend its Pool Program agreement with Sky High Aviation.

The multi-year extension means the airline based in the Dominican Republic will continue to receive support for a wide range of repairable components for five E-190 and two E-175.

Last year, Sky High Aviation became the first E-Jet operator in the Caribbean, and Embraer has been supporting the airline ever since.

Juan Chamizo, chief executive and president of Sky High Aviation, said: “Thanks to the Embraer team for providing support through the Pool Program, this will allow us to maintain our high operational safety standards and also reduce response times in AOG situations.”

Carlos Naufel, chief executive and president of Embraer Services & Support, said: “We are very pleased to extend our Pool Program agreement with Sky High Aviation.

“The company is growing its E-Jet footprint together with our support – which shows that we are on the right path.

Embraer is honoured to be part of the company’s momentum, to support the aircraft operation and maintain the readiness of the fleet.”

Currently, Embraer’s Pool Program supports more than 60 airlines worldwide.
