ExecuJet MRO Services South Africa, a Dassault Aviation subsidiary, is on track to break its airframe heavy maintenance record this year.

The company has revealed it is set to complete at least 11 heavy maintenance checks in 2024, surpassing its previous record of seven, thanks to an uptick in work on Dassault Falcon aircraft.

The South African branch is certified for both line and heavy maintenance on various Dassault Falcon models, including the Falcon 50, 2000, 900, 7X, and 8X, with readiness to support the newest Falcon 6X.

Additionally, ExecuJet MRO is an authorised service centre for Bombardier and Embraer, handling heavy checks for the Bombardier Learjet 40/60, Challenger 600 series, Beechcraft King Airs, and Embraer Legacy 650s.

As Africa’s largest business aviation MRO, ExecuJet MRO Services South Africa boasts a workforce of 130, including 70 engineers, and operates a hangar at Johannesburg’s Lanseria International Airport capable of housing up to 14 aircraft.

The facility also offers avionics and satcom installations and upgrades, as well as an engine workshop specialising in Honeywell TPE 331 overhauls and TFE 731 major repairs.
