HAECO has strengthened its position in the growing CFM International LEAP aftermarket after signing an Elite Licensed Repair Service Facility (LRSF) agreement with Woodward to provide OEM-authorised repair services for LEAP engine components.

The long-term agreement authorises HAECO to carry out MRO services across Woodward’s portfolio of fuel control, engine actuation and air management systems supporting the LEAP-1A, LEAP-1B and LEAP-1C engines.

The partnership brings HAECO into Woodward’s Elite LRSF network, expanding the OEM’s authorised global repair capability as the installed base of LEAP-powered aircraft continues to grow.

For HAECO, the agreement strengthens its engine component services business and reinforces its role as a regional support hub in Asia-Pacific and the Chinese Mainland. The company will provide OEM-approved repair services from its facilities in Hong Kong and Xiamen, giving operators in one of the world’s fastest-growing LEAP markets access to localised support.

The companies said the agreement is intended to improve access to OEM-approved repairs for critical engine components while supporting faster turnaround times and higher fleet availability.
