Finnair extends E-190 component support agreement with AerFin

AerFin has signed a seven-year extension of its component support contract for Finnair’s fleet of 12 E-190 aircraft through to 2030.

Following Finnair’s thorough cost review, market testing, and auditing, AerFin was selected due to a proven track record and commitment to exceptional support, reliability and cost effectiveness.

AerFin’s BeyondPool programme has been meticulously designed to adapt according to both the airline’s operational needs and evolving market conditions.

Finnair and AerFin’s partnership has been in place since 2020.

This new extension deepens the strategic partnership between the two companies, which includes the collaboration on the sustainable phase-out of an A319 aircraft, showcasing the shared commitment to innovative solutions that promote sustainability in aviation.

Juha Ojala, senior vice president, technical operations at Finnair, said: “AerFin has been a reliable, high-quality and long-term partner.
