MRO provider FL Technics has opened its latest wheels and brakes maintenance facility in Bergamo, Italy, strengthening its European network of landing gear component MRO services.
Strategically located near Milan Bergamo Airport, the new site is already operational and aims to offer convenient access and high-quality support to airlines across Southern and Western Europe.
It joins existing FL Technics wheels and brakes facilities in Vilnius, Budapest, and Hanover, creating a network designed to deliver regionally accessible, reliable MRO capabilities.
Zilvinas Lapinskas, chief executive of FL Technics, said: “Our investment in Bergamo addresses the growing demand from airlines in Southern and Western Europe, and gets us one step closer to building the largest MRO network on the continent.
“With strong partnerships, a highly skilled workforce, and strategic locations across the continent, this new facility will become a key hub for landing gear components, serving major airlines throughout Europe.”
The Bergamo site is set to employ nearly 160 skilled professionals once fully ramped up, adding to FL Technics’ 3,000-strong workforce worldwide.
